           Sleep Apnea is a sleeping disorder where breathing repeatedly stops and starts during sleep. Often characterized by loud snoring, choking, or gasping for air during sleep, and excessive daytime sleepiness, it affects men more than women. However, its silent, intermittent nature, coupled with a widespread misconception that snoring is 'normal', often leads to under-diagnosis. The risks are far from benign - untreated sleep apnea can lead to high blood pressure, heart disease, stroke, diabetes, and a host of other health problems.

  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;

           Major scientific, and technological, advancements have made it possible to discuss ideas such as the production of offspring that are without diseases, which also presents its own set of ethical issues. The likely requests for genetic mitigation don’t just cease at the treatment, and prevention, of human diseases. The deliberate adjustment of the human genes, to better individuals, such as genetic enhancements, clearly presents itself with various sets of ethical issues.

           The subject of genetic enhancement presents a good number of ethical issues that society must consider, as this subject grows.

      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;

           A major ethical issue which presents itself with genetic enhancement is that currently health is defined as functioning normal, and if the definition of normal functioning is continually being updated, with a new subset of enhanced children, then the definition of health will need to be modified. If

          the development of genetic enhancements evolves fast enough, then predictions show that children will become obsolete at birth. Even with a more calculated approach being taken towards modifications, with individuals only becoming obsolete in their early adulthood, there's still going to be an issue of keeping health and "normal functioning" as fixed concepts

            - If animal and human DNA, both intentional and non-intentional, contain the intelligence or sentiments that weren't seen in nonhuman animals, should these entities be granted rights and particular protection?

           In order to improve the overall health of the general population, the responsibility must be left to medical professionals, and their patients. Here is where the "Triple Aim" plays a major role.

            The growth, and improvement, of healthcare quality and safety is dependent on patients, and health care providers, who are motivated and willing, to study the healthcare system structure, along with the organization of healthcare delivery, and amend the processes which lead to inaccuracies.

            There isn’t quality health care, without first establishing strong public health, and in order to ensure quality health care, the Institute for Healthcare Improvement suggests the ‘Triple Aim’.

            The first of the triple aim is to improve the health of the general population, rather than one-on-one care, which proves to be more cost-effective.

  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;

      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;

             The second aim is to improve patients’ experiences, when receiving healthcare, at every level of healthcare, by centralizing around disease management and prevention.
            &#xD;
        &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/li&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/ul&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;

  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;ul&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;li&gt;&#xD;

            Finally, the third aim is to lower the per-capita cost of healthcare, by lowering the weight of disease, improving self-care so less people will require outside care, and improving the overall efficiency of healthcare services.
